Welcome
Welcome on the website of the nuclear moments group of the KU Leuven. Browse the different topics and find out more about our team and our research projects.
Our Group
We are a dynamic group of about 5 to 7 people, led by Gerda Neyens. The other team members work as a postdoc, PhD-candidate, predoc- or master student. Meet us here.
Experimental Facilities
Our research group performs experiments at several international facilities. Find out more.
Research
Atomic nuclei play a key role in scientific research as they are used to explore the origin of matter and the fundamental interactions in nature. Our group contributes to the answer on these questions by studying the nuclear moments of specific exotic isotopes. What, why and how can be found here.
