Since Leuven is situated more or less in the vicinity of Brussels, the capital of Belgium, the directions start from there. coming from Brussels, take the E40-highway direction LUIK/LEUVEN. After some 20 kilometers, follow the direction GENK/HASSELT/LEUVEN. Following this direction will bring you to highway E314, sometimes called highway A2.

After a short distance, you have to take exit nr. 15, called LEUVEN-CENTRUM. Turn right at the third traffic light. This crossing is indicated on the map below with the number 91.
 
After hundred meters turn right. You have arrived on our campus. Follow the red line on the map. This will bring you to the highest building on the campus. It's building 200D, the physics research building.
 

  How to find us
  By public transport



Getting to the railway-station   Although almost all busses in the area around Leuven will stop at the railway-station of Leuven, you'll probably arrive in Leuven by train. Click here to find the timetables of the Belgian Railways. Arriving in the railway-station of Heverlee is also possible, but less favourable.


From the railway-station to the campus   By bus Take bus 2 (with indication CAMPUS) at the railway-station. Timetables of bus 2 can be found on the Web site of the bus company as follows :

  •   Click on 'Dienstregelingtabellen'
  •   Select 'Leuven' as 'vertrekpunt'
  •   Click on the arrow the go on
  •   Select 'Heverlee Campus Arenberg II'
  •   Select '2' and fill in the date on which you want to travel

    The terminus of the bus is on our campus.

By taxi   Normally there are taxi's waiting at the railway-station of Leuven. A drive to our campus would cost you about € 7,50
