Last minute travel information

• From Zaventem (Brussels) airport to Leuven center, you can take a direct train connection (from the airport train terminal).
  If you take a taxi (on your own charge), the costs are about €50. If there are no taxi’s waiting, you can call Breckpot-taxi (Leuven) at number (+32) (0) 16 20 20 20.

  This is at about 200m from the Leuven station (when exiting the station building, go to your right).
  In order to reach the Conference site La Foresta, a special bus shuttle from the NOVOTEL hotel will be available.
  Using the shuttle, you can reach Conference site La Foresta in the morning (after taking your breakfast at the NOVOTEL), and in the evening (after your dinner at Conference site La Foresta).
  If you want to go at other time to/from the Conference site La Foresta, you can take (at your own expenses) a taxi. The taxi will cost about €20 (Breckpot-taxi (Leuven) at number (+32) (0) 16 20 20 20).
  For the registration day (5 July) the NOVOTEL shuttle bus will take you starting from 15h00 on a regular basis to the Conference site La Foresta, where we will enjoy the reception together at 17h30.

  Vaalbeek is approximately 20 minutes from Leuven center.

  1. Special conference shuttle busses
  For the start of the conference (on 5 July) a shuttle service between Leuven center and Conference site La Foresta will be provided, starting at 14h00 in the afternoon (30 minutes interval). Follow the indicators at the railway station to reach the gathering point for the bus shuttle.
  
  2 Public transport
  Public Bus line TEC-18 goes between Leuven center and the Conference site La Foresta, Naamsesteenweg - Vaalbeek and station Blanden.

• Traveling by car
  There are two easy ways to reach Leuven by car, either the E40 (Brussel - Luik) or the A2 (Brussel - Maastricht). The detailed map is attached below. In Leuven take the ring, and go direction Namen (Namur). This road is the Naamstesteenweg. In Blanded, turn right following the signs La Foresta.
